English for electricians starts with a real jobsite task: name the tool, confirm the instruction, then report what you observed. This beginner learning path connects vocabulary, short phrases and full dialogues with practice.

电工的英文是 electrician，电工英语常称 English for electricians。先学会说出工具名称，再复述确认指令，最后报告观察到的现象；沿着这条路线连接词汇、短句和完整对话练习。

## 开关关了，就能动手吗？

断开是一个动作，确认无电是一项验证。锁具防止误送电，验电确认当前状态。

- 隔离装置 · 断开能源
- 锁与牌 · 防误操作
- 记录 · 明确人员与范围

## 学习目标

- Confirm what work is included before you start.
- 开始前确认工作范围。
- Separate an observation from a guess or conclusion.
- 区分观察、猜测和结论。
- Use stop-and-report language when evidence is incomplete.
- 证据不足时使用停手和报告表达。

## job brief · 任务说明

A short explanation of the work, hazards, responsibilities, and expected result.

对工作内容、危险、职责和预期结果的简要说明。

Example: Let's review the job brief before we collect the tools.

例句：拿工具前，我们先复核任务说明。

Usage boundary: Ask questions before the task starts, not after an assumption causes rework.

使用边界：应在任务开始前提问，不要等错误假设造成返工。

## work scope · 工作范围

The defined boundary of the task: what is included and what is not.

任务的明确边界：包括什么、不包括什么。

Example: Is testing the adjacent circuit included in our work scope?

例句：测试相邻回路是否属于本次工作范围？

Usage boundary: A clear scope prevents unauthorized or accidental extra work.

使用边界：清楚的范围可以避免未授权或意外扩大的工作。

## circuit · 回路

A complete electrical path that supplies one or more loads.

为一个或多个负载供电的完整电气路径。

Example: Which circuit supplies this receptacle?

例句：哪一个回路给这个插座供电？

Usage boundary: Do not assume a label is correct; follow the approved identification procedure.

使用边界：不要默认标签正确，应按批准流程识别回路。

## supply · 电源；供电侧

The source or incoming side that provides electrical energy.

提供电能的来源或进线侧。

Example: The supply must be isolated before the cover is removed.

例句：拆盖板前必须隔离电源。

Usage boundary: Turning off a control button is not always the same as isolating the supply.

使用边界：关闭控制按钮并不总等于隔离电源。

## load · 负载

Equipment or a device that uses electrical energy to do work.

使用电能完成工作的设备或器件。

Example: Disconnect the load and record whether the breaker still trips.

例句：断开负载并记录断路器是否仍然跳闸。

Usage boundary: A load is part of the evidence; it is not automatically the cause of a fault.

使用边界：负载是证据的一部分，但不一定就是故障原因。

## isolate · 隔离能源

To disconnect and control an energy source using the required procedure.

按照规定流程断开并控制能源。

Example: Isolate the circuit and apply the site energy-control procedure.

例句：隔离回路并执行现场能量控制流程。

Usage boundary: Isolation is a formal safety action, not a casual synonym for switch off.

使用边界：隔离是正式的安全动作，不是简单的“关掉开关”。

## verify · 验证

To establish a condition with the required evidence rather than assumption.

使用规定证据确认状态，而不是依赖假设。

Example: I have isolated the circuit, but I have not verified absence of voltage yet.

例句：我已经隔离回路，但尚未验证无电。

Usage boundary: State clearly when verification is incomplete.

使用边界：验证尚未完成时应明确说明。

## qualified person · 合格人员；具备资质与能力的人员

A person with the training, knowledge, and authorization required for the specific task and jurisdiction.

针对特定任务和地区要求，具备所需培训、知识和授权的人员。

Example: This energized condition must be assessed by a qualified person.

例句：这个带电状态必须由合格人员评估。

Usage boundary: The exact legal definition varies by country, regulator, and work context.

使用边界：其法律定义会因国家、监管机构和工作场景而异。

## hazard · 危险源

A source or condition with the potential to cause harm.

可能造成伤害的来源或状态。

Example: Damaged insulation is a hazard, even if the tool still operates.

例句：即使工具仍能运行，绝缘破损也是危险源。

Usage boundary: Describe the observable condition before judging the level of risk.

使用边界：判断风险等级前，先描述可观察状态。

## report · 报告；汇报

To communicate a condition, action, or result to the responsible person using the site process.

按照现场流程向负责人说明状态、动作或结果。

Example: I stopped using the extension lead and reported the damaged jacket.

例句：我停止使用延长线，并报告了护套破损。

Usage boundary: A useful report includes symptom, location, time, safe action, and current status.

使用边界：有效报告应包括症状、位置、时间、安全动作和当前状态。

## 60秒任务说明练习

Your supervisor asks you to inspect a receptacle that stopped working. The panel label may be outdated.

主管让你检查一个停止工作的插座，但配电箱标签可能已经过时。

Use work scope, circuit, isolate, verify, and report in a safe reply.

使用 work scope、circuit、isolate、verify 和 report 做出安全回应。

I understand the work scope is to inspect the dead receptacle. I will identify the correct circuit, follow the site isolation procedure, verify the required condition, and report the evidence before any further action.
